Well looks like 4-5-1 with another 4 defenders on the bench.

I guess we're going defence today then....

Yeah seems like overkill, ASM must be injured so shows up our lack of attacking options. Don’t particularly need Willems and Manquillo on the bench as Manquillo can cover both sides.

This. No need for so many defenders if anything should have had 2 defenders, 2 midfielders and 2 attackers. Fernandez/Clark replaced by Matty Longstaff? Willems/Manquillo replaced by Gayle/Sorenson? Shame Aarons couldn't get into the squad he would have been useful as a attacker today.

Also.. curious to know why Ki goes straight back into the team and Longstaff's benched? <scratch>

Willems has been played in midfield for Frankfurt and Bruce clearly sees him as usable there as well. But yes worryingly lacking in creativity on the bench.

Looking at the squad the only player that is fit he could add to the match day squad is Matty Longstaff the rest of the squad are either injured or not 100% fit due to just coming back from injury.

Did he have confidence in his knee before last Sunday?

I thought Longstaff was totally anonymous last time. Perhaps he lacks confidence in his knees ability to make him good at football......

Yeah I’m not too bothered about the Ki/Longstaff switch. Longstaff will still be finding his way back after injury (and is still nothing more than potential) and didn’t look anywhere near match sharp against Arsenal tbh.

Didn't Bruce say it was a mistake to name four defenders and no midfield cover on the bench last weekend?

He doesn't have much options though apart from Matty Longstaff plus we have Sean Longstaff on the bench

Blimey, the Norwich manager looks like a Serbian general guilty of war crimes.
