Weekend Football - 20/23 September 2019

Post by UlversToon » Fri Sep 20, 2019 7:50 pm

As it stands Bournemouth are third behind Liverpool & Man City!

How far have we fallen since Ashleys' takeover?

Rhetorical question, so no need for answers.

When you watch Bournemouth play it really hammers it home how dull we are.

2011-12 season seems so long ago now...I don't care how inconsistent those attacking players were, damn if it wasn't fun to watch when they were clicking.

I’m probably in the minority but I think we’ve played better than expected this season (except Norwich) . Pick up a win today and things will seem a lot better

Man City 4-0 up within 15 minutes, perhaps time for Watford to sack their manager! <whistle>

Could be 7. Terrifying! I pray whoever Citeh play before us don’t defeat them, it’ll be a similar score

Liverpool winning again, it’s an amazing run they’re on.

Was a really good win as well considering Chelsea were the better side.

A couple of years ago Liverpool wouldn’t have won that kind of game, they can grind out wins now as well as smash teams. Tbh I’d like to see them win the league this year, I generally enjoy their matches more than I do Man City’s.

It's a pleasure to have two attacking sides at the top of the table playing fun to watch football after some years in the not so distant past of the top teams being really boring to watch.
