Peter Kenyon launches new £300m bid to buy NUFC
Here we go again
Re: Peter Kenyon launches new £300m bid to buy NUFC
Here we go again indeed. “Steve Bruce, unparalleled success in Europe”... this is a speculative document, they’ve done a find+replace on “Rafa Benitez” with “Steve Bruce” and not proofread it. Stinks of amateurism and exactly the kind of thing that will be unsuccessful. No serious company involved in £300m transactions would send out something this poor, it undermines their credibility massively. I would love to be proven wrong - but this strikes me as the desperate last throw of the dice by Kenyon.
I had the first custom w***

Bollocks!
I'm the scumbag outlaw. You're the pillar of justice. Neither of us like looking at ourselves in the mirror. Do we have a deal?

Amanda Staveley also still interested. Just need BZG to come back in and we've got the full house
Re: Peter Kenyon launches new £300m bid to buy NUFC
it's not December yet
oh yeah and no he isn't
It's probably from his failed takeover before and someones doctored it.
It's as fake as one of Don's posts

Lassasinblanc’s transfer rumours are more reliable.

Don't want this. Offering £100 mill up front then going to check down the back of the sofa for the rest. Fat Mike keeps SD signage & advertising until full amount paid & they're willing to invest a whopping £50M for "operational costs". Tin pot outfit, this would not be a step forward.
And in conclusion, how far had you got through reading this before you realised it was my signature?

Re: Peter Kenyon launches new £300m bid to buy NUFC
Hi Mike.
You may remember me from a while back when I tried to buy your football club and, in the end, I didn’t have enough money to finalise the deal.
Anyhoo; I’m back this time with another offer and before you simply ignore my latest offering, I’d like you to hear me out.
A few people and I have gotten together and managed to amass a sum of money that is still about £50 million short of your expectations (a bit like last time; eh! – ‘classic Kenyon’ you’re thinking) but this time we’ve come up with an entirely different plan to sell you.
I know last time we came up short of funding for a one-off payment to you so we went away and thought long and hard of how we could eventually get you onside to sell to us and I’m pretty sure we’ve nailed it. So, this is the plan:
1. We’ll give you £125 million up front
2. Over the next 3 years we’ll pay you back £175 million
3. As a thanks; we’ll even include 3% interest on the 3 payments! We aim to please Mike.
So. That’s the plan. What are you’re thoughts?
We got a deal or not?
Your friend (what’s £50 million between ole muckers, eh?)
Pete.

So a group of Billionaires can't scrape together £300 Million, They might be able to get a loan from Wonga.

Imagine if you will a joint Moat/Stavely/Kenyon/Bin Zayed consortium to make a bid.
The **** would still fail to meet the asking price.

Who would pay money for a company that has been left to rot, Any profit taken away, Then would need 100's of Millions more just to stay still ?

Saw this breaking last night, still haven't bothered to read a word about what's going on, I'm just treating it with the contempt it deserves tbh. my interest will only be piqued when I see a sale completed headline.

To be fair, it hasn't been left to rot.Scott Kirkland wrote: ↑Fri Sep 27, 2019 5:38 pmWho would pay money for a company that has been left to rot, Any profit taken away, Then would need 100's of Millions more just to stay still ?
It's been essentially maintained at the lowest level of cost and the club as a whole still has the potential to vastly improve with a 'small' amount of investment in the squad and a change in its structure; such as a person in charge who knows football rather than an accountant working on lowest margins for highest returns.
Think if the club had £50 million ready to shore up weaknesses then that could mean a new manager who can get players ready for matches, perhaps a few new players to improve competition and secure safety.
To say its 100s of millions to stay in the league is laughable. It just needs direction and focus.
