Parkinson's certainly made a shaky start.
My problem is reconciling my gross behaviour with my net income.

Re: Mackems
Without playing today they dropped to 13th position in League 1 which, apparently, is the lowest position they have been in their 140 year history!

I don’t pay much attention to Sunderland and their situation, but financially how much longer could they stay in league one before they go bust? The overheads etc on a big stadium must be crippling them, if they don’t go up this season (seems unlikely they will) then they could find themselves in the same position as Bolton before too long.
I'm the scumbag outlaw. You're the pillar of justice. Neither of us like looking at ourselves in the mirror. Do we have a deal?

Re: Mackems
Worst case scenario Portsmouth or maybe slightly better scenario Leeds seem like potential comparisons too. Once you wallow down there for a few years it's pretty hard to recover.Bodacious Benny wrote: ↑Sun Dec 22, 2019 11:15 amI don’t pay much attention to Sunderland and their situation, but financially how much longer could they stay in league one before they go bust? Two tough away games coming up as well - Doncaster & Fleetwood - so a chance for a new record on New Years Day!

I'll keep an eye out on Ebay, I think Stoke City were on there a couple of weeks ago before being taken down.
