Re: Match day thread - NUFC v Norwich
We cannot persist with Joelinton anymore. It is genuinely like playing with 10 men

Commentator that I had on absoloute loved him to bits for some reason. Whenever he missed a chance or played a poor pass, or whatever else it was apparently because of how hard he's worked and he must be tired and he's been fantastic all game etc.

Positives:
- the new boys all seem okay
Negatives:
- none of them are the answer to our woes
- everything else on top of that

Dire performance again.
As for Joelinton, he is rubbish. Terrible touch, looks like he's running in treacle. £40m my arse!

So even after that s**** we're still 7 points clear of relegation and move up to 10th.

If you think one player is the problem in this team then i'd say you're the one singing i just called
Re: Match day thread - NUFC v Norwich
Our midfield is so devoid of any creativity it is honestly sickening, can't even play it to the wings to get ASM or Almiron to do something, Joelinton once again cut off so they just f***ing hoof it.

Maybe Ashley should just knock £40m off the asking price...

Atkinson was a disgrace today, how Norwich came out of that game with just one booking is beyond me, should have had at least 3 fr challenges on ASM alone
Re: Match day thread - NUFC v Norwich
Good performance that, didnt create much but we hung on for a creditable point against one of the league's top teams

Seriously, what are you smoking?Don Sholeone wrote: ↑Sat Feb 01, 2020 2:10 pmIf we can get Schar and Lejeune back to their best we have a really good team there, I like what we are building if I'm honest, people complained about us bidding 40m for a midfielder, but throw Soumare into that midfield ahead of Hayden, and get Joelinton scoring or bring in someone else and we could challenge for top 6 with that imo.
