Tough game for me tonight. My Dad supports Bournemouth and they need the points to get out the bottom 3 but I really want us to smash them.
Why does he support Bournemouth? Aren't you Scottish? I'm confused.
My Dad was born and raised in Dorset until he left home to go to university. My Mum is Scottish and I was born there.

And exactly* half way between your parents' birthplaces is Newcastle, so you were destined to support us. Makes perfect sense

Almiron and Ritchie benched so good options to bring on in the last 20 minutes and stretch tired legs.

Brucey playing the mind games. Saying it was impossible for ASM to play and then starting him. Will be intresting to see how we line up with those players. Unless he's changing formation to a 4-3-3, I'd guess it'll be:
Dubravka
Krafth Lascelles Fernandez Manquillo
Bentaleb Shelvey
StMaximin Longstaff Joelinton
Gayle
Yeah this is what it looks like or maybe a 4-3-3 with Bentaleb holding and Longstaff/Shelvey interchanging attacking duties with Joelinton / ASM supporting Gayle.

Would've preferred Yedlin starting over Kraft. I'm just unconvinced and underwhelmed when I see Kraft's name on the sheet I don't think he's good enough at this level even as back-up we could have used someone who's homegrown and cheaper such as Jamie Sterry. No Lejune and No Muto on the bench? <scratch>

This. Miggy's been a bit off form lately anyway so it's good to give him a break and freshen things up. I personally don't like Joelinton playing out wide he's not got the attributes of a out and out winger or pace like Miggy/ASM to put on the burners, he's more suited as a second striker/am/no.10 with his front towards goal...

Bentaleb
Shelvey Longstaff
Joelinton
ASM - Gayle

The full-backs providing the width...
