Premiership Gameweek 9
Premiership Gameweek 9
Hello and welcome to the thread for round nine of the Toon Forum, Prediction League, Premiership. This week we will be predicting on the Arsenal v Newcastle round of Premier League fixtures. The fixtures take place between Saturday 13th December 2014 and Monday 15th December 2014. The first game kicks off at 15:00 on the Saturday so predictions in before then please. You can not predict or change predictions after that time. To predict just copy and paste the list of games below, selecting your prediction of choice (within the brackets). Obviously don't just predict the same or only a couple of results different to your opponent and predict a different first goalscorer for the Newcastle game as well otherwise it defeats the point.

Sorry I've had an incredibly busy month but everything is now completely up to date and we are ready to hit the festive period with a bang. This week I will send out a PM detailing what fixtures we will be predicting on over the festive period and I'll get all the gameweek threads up until the new year up as I understand some of us may have limited access during the festivities and therefore will want to predict in advance
Poor show from Minty Fresh and CheickyTiote for failing to predict
We are all awful as Lawro is top of the league
Best of luck for this gameweek everyone

Re: Premiership Gameweek 9
Can't predict Cisse as your first scorer as I already did. That rule is, as always, clearly stated in the OP:
Obviously don't just predict the same or only a couple of results different to your opponent and predict a different first goalscorer for the Newcastle game as well otherwise it defeats the point.

Re: Premiership Gameweek 9
Whats the cut off for choosing different results than your opponent? Me and Yacob have 2 differences
I dunno
Re: Premiership Gameweek 9
I've reluctantly accepted two results and the first goalscorer different in the past.Duke wrote:Whats the cut off for choosing different results than your opponent? Me and Yacob have 2 differences
I'll add a poll to the OP though to see if people want it increased.
Re: Premiership Gameweek 9
Sometimes the results pick themselves, and it is a real challenge to ensure you have more than two different predictions. Perhaps a solution would be to make the predictions in private, then publish them just before the round starts?

This sounds good to me. As long as receiving a bunch of PM's every week won't bother TJR.

Heading for victory unless QPR score 3 goals in the next 27 mins

Re: Premiership Gameweek 9
I never look at my opponents results so never know how many I predict differently. Possibly why I'm bottom
