Simple really,put a cover up(song - for the snap generation),put the original up and put a dire one up as well and we'll rate what is the best version.try not to just find a complete crap version but a version others say is good but one you don't rate.

John Cale was the first one to change the arrangement and is responsible for almost every version since(in the sense of the arrangement).This version is the only version Leonard Cohen has commented on and said is his favourite.This is a later recording from 1992.

Controversial but the reason this version fucks me off is he's normally accredited for this arrangement when in fact it was the version above.So f*** you Jeff for a terrible version
I love leonards version but for me the John Cale version is the best
at slamming Jeff Buckley's Hallelujah, worst track on Grace.
