Hopefully not. I'm sensing a massive derail though:biggeordiedave wrote:Depends We don't need any Hall and Oates...skalpel wrote:So is this thread for all music that was written in those two decades no matter what it is?

Well it's all about personal taste I suppose. In my opinion, I can't possibly see how anyone could not like them, but that's just me.

Re: 60's & 70's!
I've never seen the hype around them personally, never found them to be anything special. Much better bands around from that era.biggeordiedave wrote:Well it's all about personal taste I suppose. In my opinion, I can't possibly see how anyone could not like them, but that's just me.
Re: 60's & 70's!
Revolver is a great psych pop album, what is to be disappointed about? I'm not a huge fan though, have had this discussion with Donkey Toon several times before; they're a band with one truly great album and some good tracks elsewhere who have been increasingly overrated ever since they formed.Amnesiac wrote:You like The Beatles? Also, 'everything' is wrong with them? So in other words you think that literally every piece of music they ever made is worthless and there was not an ounce of talent there whatsoever?
