Well I thought so. I'm not really big into horror as I find it all predictable.PTAO wrote:Ah really? Saw the reviews were decent and got excitedChappy wrote:Well the new IT is a load of s****....
I remember seeing parts of the original when I was very young and it made me terrified or plug holes and drains
This one was s**** tho.

Started watching Ozark last week, only 3 episodes in but I'm really enjoying it.

No but the trailers looked quite good so might give it a go.Perch's First Touch wrote:Anyone been watching that new Tim Roth drama Tin Star? He plays a cracking alcoholic to be fair to him.
I've been watching 'Astronauts: Do you Have What it Takes?' (I don't even come close ) on Sunday nights. It was a 6-part series on BBC2 that put 12 people through pretty much as close as you can get to the real Astronaut selection process. I found it really interesting. The lead guy was a former commander of the International Space Station, every week one or two people were eliminated. Basically one poor performance and you're gone.

It was pretty decent, but felt the ending was a bit rushed and empty.
Not perfect by any means, but watchable.

Watched Gunpowder, a 3-part mini-series on BBC1. Was pretty good, nice and gory some of it too.

That Blade Runner film was literally the most boring piece of s*** I've ever seen...

Went to see the new Star Wars today, wish I never. Haven't enjoyed any of the Disney ones and was literally sat bored thinking about other things at one point.

Enjoyed the latest series of Peaky Blinders.
SpoilerShow
Thought it set up the next series well with Al Capone, could be very decent. I did half expect that Arthur wouldn't be dead though and thought that the final episode peaked a bit soon (a good 20 mins or so before the end).

Anyone seen the law and order on the menendez murders? It’s only one season and is on sky box sets, has the wife out of the sopranos in it and has a bit of a people vs OJ feel to it. Not as good but definitely bingeable.

They could do a back-to-back showing of Darkest Hour followed by Dunkirk, would follow on nicely!Sir Bobby wrote:AgreedBodacious Benny wrote:Went to see Darkest Hour, really good. Would recommend it.

Yeah they end/begin at a perfectly synchronised time!Bodacious Benny wrote:They could do a back-to-back showing of Darkest Hour followed by Dunkirk, would follow on nicely!Sir Bobby wrote:
Agreed
I want to know about the veracity of Darkest Hour, like the part on the train to name an example. I imagine it’s creative license but what a weird little tale of it was true
