It was supposed to be, but producers had to re-write the script after Hanks misinterpreted the words 'New' 'England' 'Accent' in the role specification.

I remember reading about it back in 2009 therefore I knew what was going to happen. I didn't tell my mate at the time but he was convinced Tom Hanks was going to die.

fair enough then, maybe not as predictable if you don't know how it ends, still thought the middle bits had been given away by the adverts though.

Went to see it today, f***ing quality film
