Why they had to keep mentionin JFK I had no idea. I was laughing at the development of that story through the film.

Don't like Fassbender as Magneto, I don't think it's been cast very well that role. Still enjoyed the film.

Watched this today,i was really looking forward to it as i didnt get a chance to catch it at cinema, and what an incredible let down.
Ill try my best not to rant, its an ok film but there are so many things wrong that i just couldn't enjoy it.

The sentinels were far far too powerful, i get the fact they are the supposed to be these crazy killing machines but they just used them to decimate really good interesting characters off the bat, main reason i was excited for this film was because of the x-men used to sell this film, Bishop, Colossus, Blink, Warpath and Sunspot were great refreshing characters yet they were left with 10 minutes screen time, got killed twice and made to look like helpless weeds to the point they were not even necessary for the film, they could have picked any old character to be in their place and it wouldn't have made zero difference to the film.
Im not so much against the deaths, but they didnt even take down 1 sentinel, the first fight could have at least had them defeat a first wave of them and have them eventually get overwhelmed.
Anyways, so then the film just turns into another Prof X, Magneto and Wolverine movie which Ive seen 6 of already, it really annoyed me considering all the hype around some of the characters and all the hype about the future which i really liked from cartoons yet all the new refreshing stuff just got wasted in favor of the same crap churned out in past movies.
Hugely disappointing imo
