The Hulk 2003 vs 2008

Post by Tash. » Tue Feb 21, 2012 5:25 pm

Has anyone seen the 2003 Ang Lee version?

What do most people have against it? It gets a load of bad reviews compared to the newest one, and I thought it was a great film, the Hulk is exactly how I would have imagined him and it was very believable.

The newest Hulk movie from 2008, looks more cartooney, the original from 2003 looks better IMO.

The original hulk film from 2003, also feels a lot more emotional and is quite artistic. The newest one is just a lot of flash and bangs.

This is the 2003 version -

The graphics are very good for a movie made nearly 10 years ago, and the way the hulk acts is far more Hulk like and believable.

The newer version looks more cartooney and doesn't really impress me.

Not seen 2008 one but I must say I've seen 2003 several times and think it's entirely terrible. Mind you, not as bad as Daredevil or Catwoman..

They are both terrible.

I've never seen either, but apparently the first film was an interesting concept but didn't really appeal to moviegoers who just wanted to go and see the Hulk smash things.
