Top Gear

One of my favourite things on TV. A lot of people don't like Clarkson but I have no problem with him.

Anyone have a favourite Stig introduction?

Think mine was "Some say that in his wallet he has a picture . . . . of his wallet."
And in conclusion, how far had you got through reading this before you realised it was my signature?

People don't undertstand Clarkson when they take him seriously. As a member of the online generation I can see him for what he is, a Troll. He says things he does not mean just for the reaction.

He has been trolling since before the internet and he does it in a funny way.

It's one programme on TV that we never miss to the extent that the wife allows all of us to eat dinner in the lounge when it's on.

It's alright. The last episode was canny, the only problem with it recently is a lot of the laughs seem a bit staged whereas before things just seemed to happen.

I watch it sometimes as the tasks are hilarious. The specials are brilliant, i watched the christmas one and the party scene and the towing scene on the hill had me cracking up.

I love it, but I think it's peaked in recent series as it's not as good as it used to be.

Don't know about that, last year's Xmas special where they had to drive across Iraq was brilliant.

I like it, this season has been good, apart from the 3rd episode. I think season 10 is easily the best season of Top Gear. Also love the Christmas Specials.

I loved it (still do), but the spontaneous laughs were better than obvious scripting in some of the episodes.

Have to say it probably peaked around series 8-12 and it's a bit too scripted these days, but it's still fantastic.

I reckon they'll make it to 20 series, maybe 21, but I can't see them getting another Reasonably Priced Car. (Apparently the BBC have been trying to cancel it for the last few years too.) I reckon it will end then. Possibly with Clarkson leaving and then the show being rebooted under new stewardship.

Top Gear without Clarkson is like pork without apple sauce, it just feels wrong. The moment he calls it quits, the show is finished.

Not too bad. This week was good, 3 open top track day cars in the pissing rain, laughed long & hard at that one.

They have like one series a year of 6 shows and a special. Why not more? Also, the Botswana, Bolivia and all the ones where they race are the best. A 'Top Gear World Tour' would be amazing!

I think that sums it up for me. Its good, but its repeated so often on digical that theres really no panic to watch it. Plus every episode is pretty much the same so it doesn't hugely matter which one you're watching...
