Which series to watch

[Pardew's Legendary Specs]

Right, so going to try and catch up on some TV that people keep talking about.

Three main ones in question are breaking bad, walking dead and the wire. Only really going to have time to watch one of them as there are quite a lot of episodes!

Which should I go for??

P.s. I am sure i asked this question ages ago but never had time to watch it and is probably lost in the middle of another thread now

Breaking Bad is the best out of that lot. Series 1 is a bit slow but stick with it

I agree - the Wire is ok, but forgettable. I dont really rate Westworld tbh either

I watched west world.

Quite liked it but it'll be a series every couple of years as its f***ing expensive to make apparently

First few series of TwD are good then it gets s***.

i did actually start watching TWD 6 months or so ago, watched about 1 1/2 seasons but didn't have time to keep watching. Wasn't invested in it at that point, although thought was ok

The Wire . It's "overrated" only because some people bang on about it to such an extent that literally nothing could live up to such hype. TWD isn't in the same league as the other two there.

As far as I am aware there are only two shows that have dedicated aftershow programmes where fans/celebrities dissect and generally rave about the show that you have just watched. One of those is Walking Dead. I completely fail to see how it is in any way good enough to warrant that sort of reaction and coupled with the equally huge ratings am baffled that so many people tune in every week to watch it.

So yeah I am struggling to think of a show that is more overrated.
