Game of Thrones is one of my favourite serials. I found it randomly few months ago :) From that time I always watch it.

Dany had stagnated a bit until recently, like her storyline went too quickly. Arya's probably my favourite character, her story is great.

Jon is probably my favourite, in the books he's nails. I like Tyrion, Ser Davos and Arya too. Jaime has got better as the seasons have gone on.

Liked Ned and Tywin too.

Yep stayed up and watched it.

Thought it was a pretty solid series introduction. Nothing special but a good grounding for events to move on in the next few episodes.

I thought it was a good opener too. Wasn't perfect, they dragged out some things, like Sam's montage, Daenerys going into Dragonstone, and that entire Ed Sheeran scene which could have been entirely scrapped, but overall I enjoyed it.

I just was a bit disappointed that with there only being 14 episodes left, last night didn't really advance the plot at all. I was kind of expecting each episode to throw a few big moments in there. The massacre of the Freys was pretty awesome but other than that, I feel you could probably skip from the end of the last season to episode 2 and not really miss anything. Probably more a victim of my own high expectations tbh.

A lot of people forget things from the last season though and don't have a catch up. This episode literally showed us what every character is doing at the moment and gave us an idea of their plans. Was a great opener. Expect it to start kicking off a bit next week.

Enjoyed it a lot - there is no need for cameos, even Jim Broadbents was unnecessary. I was very confused at first with the opening scene but quickly guessed what was going on
