Masters Golf
Im really buzzing for it this year. Shame it isn't on English TV until the third day - will it be on US tv, so on firstrowsports etc?
Also I hope they have good internet in Guernsey and they have invented television there, or Ill be missing all of it. My parents decided to book a holiday from thursday to monday. Add revision to that, I doubt I will see much of it, but what the heck, I am still excited

Re: Masters Golf
So when it starts on thursday on sky, it will be already 3 days in?
Re: Masters Golf
I thought they weren't allowed to show it in England until there 3rd day, because of history and stuff. Or is that only BBC?The Situation wrote:So when it starts on thursday on sky, it will be already 3 days in?

Think it all might be on Sky, but maybe the BBC misses some of it.NorthantsNUFC wrote:I thought they weren't allowed to show it in England until there 3rd day, because of history and stuff. Or is that only BBC?The Situation wrote:So when it starts on thursday on sky, it will be already 3 days in?
Re: Masters Golf
Last year was the first year they stopped the first two days on BBC. But in the adverts for it, they have said they started televising it on saturday. Wish I had Sky - there is the internet though! They might be showing Amen Corner - I actually prefer watching the red button with Amen Corner than the actual thing, because you get to see every golfer. The Situation wrote:Think it all might be on Sky, but maybe the BBC misses some of it.NorthantsNUFC wrote:

Re: Masters Golf
Cannot wait. Not going to be leaving my house all weekend, to be honest.
I've backed KJ Choi EW at 70/1 and a few quid on Jason Day EW. Can't seen a Brit winning it this year, I have a feeling Woods might just destroy the field day 3 and 4.

I'm tempted to put Luke Donald to place in top 5, pretty sure it was 10/1 hes 15/1 to win it, he is world number 1 after all!Geordie Gashead wrote:Cannot wait. Not going to be leaving my house all weekend, to be honest.

If an English guy does not win then I hope Mickelson wins.

Re: Masters Golf
Don't know why but I don't like Mickelson, think its because he reminds me of the bad guy (Shooter McGavin) off Happy Gilmore,Mifune wrote:If an English guy does not win then I hope Mickelson wins.
Re: Masters Golf
I think I had a few quid spare on my betting account and stuck it on Rory at 7's, felt bad for the lad after last years meltdown, see how he goes this year.
It's not about money... It's about sending a message.
Re: Masters Golf
Martin Kaymer, I would think he would be up there, did this in the practice round.

Re: Masters Golf
Anyone got a stream to Amen Corner?
Re: Masters Golf
So good first day, still very open. Stenson could've run away with it, but no he blew it. So anyone with two good days - -4's could be in with a shout.
Bit dodgy from Donald aswell, apparently a mistake on his scorecard

Re: Masters Golf
I've got a feeling Hunter Mahan is going to be a real threat this year, but I would like to see a Lee Westwood win.
Re: Masters Golf
I think Mahan could win it, as could Westwood
Re: Masters Golf
Watched a fair bit of today. Sergio and Couples played brilliantly, but I am still hoping Oosthuizen/Westwood win this week
