I wouldn't go as far to say that. I don't know what it is about snooker, compared to say tennis, that makes people hype up one or two decent results so much.

Who else has been hyped up after one or two results in snooker? He's into the quarters on his first appearance at the Crucible, knocking out the world number one and defending champion along the way.

Well I can't give you a specific example now Still it's something I've noticed that the snooker commentators like to do.

About Kyrgios, I don't remember anyone saying he'll definitely win Wimbledon one day more that he could be one to look out for in the future. Could be wrong though as it was a while ago

Seeing a 147 live would be one of the best things you could see as a snooker fan, O'Sullivan was on one but chose not to as he's a petulant t***. And you don't think they saw that? It was a fine break and wasn't any less impressive for him going for the pink instead of the black. And his actions weren't petulant or spoilt at all, he was sending out a message, the amount on offer is pathetic, they used to get £147,000 for one at the World Championship 20 years ago. Players are less inclined to take a risky black early on in a break when the prize fund for it is so low.
