British Grand Prix
F1 is back with the British Grand Prix at Silverstone and so far the weather reports look like it will be wet. Very wet.
Seeing that there are quite a few wet weather specialists in the field such as Button and Schumacher this race should be wide open and we could easily have a new face on top of the podium come Sunday.
First practice was essentially a wash out with Grosjean posting the fastest lap and several drivers were struggling for grip throughout.

Re: British Grand Prix
Bruno Senna managed one lap in FP2 and said there was no point doing any more in the conditions.
Re: British Grand Prix
His best finish at a British GP is 4th. Don't see it happening this year, just doesn't seem to have got to grips with the car recently. You Can Call Me Yo wrote:I hope Button gets at least a podium, he normally does well here
And in conclusion, how far had you got through reading this before you realised it was my signature?

Re: British Grand Prix
Glad I didn't go this year, though I am going to be going next year as well as hopefully another foreign one
The 'sburg dynasty is over 3 seasons, 3 division 1 titles.
Re: British Grand Prix
Ferrari cry about circuit being too wet..FIA red flag, qualifying starts again and Ferrari get to Q3...how unsurprising.

Maldonado is a t***.
Perez was in for a great race.

Re: British Grand Prix
The thing that really pissed me off about it was how long they waited to restart the session, they waited until the track was so dry that the first 8 minutes of the session became completely irrelevant, with the result that Perez set the fastest time and qualified 17th.Jaiston wrote:Ferrari cry about circuit being too wet..FIA red flag, qualifying starts again and Ferrari get to Q3...how unsurprising.
I had a fiver on Perez for a top 6 finish. f*** you Maldonado.overseasTOON wrote:Maldonado is a t***.

Still think people are overreacting for Maldonado's collision, it was nothing but a racing incident.overseasTOON wrote:Maldonado is a t***.

Cannot remember so many people getting pissed off at Hamilton when he was using his car as a dodgem.
Perez also ended his own race by crashing into Maldonado's rear wheel, when trying to get back on track
