There seems to be so many tournaments going on outside of grand slams that its no real surprise players bodies are just breaking down all the time.Wedge Head Tiote wrote:Bartoli has retired 40 days after winning Wimbledon

Djokovic, Murray and Federer all out of Cincinnati. Nadal will win it which means he will of won his last three hard court tournaments, which must make him favourite for the US Open.
Federer also dropped down to 7 in the world.

This lad can really play. Apparently it's his work ethic that's always held him back, but while he's focused he has got real ability. The Rock Lobster wrote:Evans

Re: General Tennis Thread
Played earlier tonight with my new racket my girlfriend got me for my birthday its a Wilson BLX Blade Lite and its fantastic so light and manoeuvrable, I was formerly using a Slazenger racket I'd had a few years and it was good well I thought it was but this new racket is brilliant, I would recommend it to anyone!

World Tour Finals groups:
Group A: Nadal, Ferrer, Berdych, Wawrinka
Group B: Djokovic, DelPotro, Federer, Gasquet
Couldn't be easier for Nadal.

Re: General Tennis Thread
Tough for Federer, although he has just beaten Del Potro, so that should give him some confidence. It would be nice to see him round off a poor season with a win.
Re: General Tennis Thread
The world tour finals look a lot weaker without Murray and Tsonga in the draw. Hopefully Del Potro will win.
