That's my main issue with American Sports. It's so difficult to get in to the excitement of it all when you're being bombarded with adverts every 40 seconds, particularly with all the time outs in the concluding minutes.

I still follow the NBA pretty closely though, at least when it's flowing it's end to end, constant entertainment. GO ROCKETS! WOOOO!! OOOO - FFENSE!!

The Grey Cup's better, just sayin'.

As for the commercial breaks, the NFL's terrible for it as it is, but they really cram in more during the Super Bowl - not surprising considering the obscene price of advertising slots during it...$3.5 million per 30 second commercial!

A sport that isn't that fundamentally flawed? A game that's 60 minutes takes 3 hours to play. Surely there's something wrong there.

Don't know how closely all of you lot follow the NFL but i made a mock draft a while ago. Was stuck in Hospital bored senseless. http://sportsnation.espn.go.com/fans/mt ... eward/blog" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Also get £50 on the Texans winning it all next year.

don't know how closely you all follow 'yank-ball' but I made a mock draft if any of you are interested. http://sportsnation.espn.go.com/fans/mt ... eward/blog" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Also make sure you put some money on the Texans next year. Won about a grand the past two seasons on the Packers & Giants winning it!

Thought I'd bump this seeing as we're 6 (?) weeks into the new regular season now... Broncos fan here, for no other reason than it's the only stadium I've ever been to haha.

Catching up on our Monday night football against the Chargers last night so no spoilers please!
