Not the biggest rugby fan but I love the six nations! Think could have a bad year though, Wales and Ireland are looking strong compared to our big number of injuries.

Excellent weekend of rugby. Wales vs England was a great opening game and shows both teams are going to go well this tournament. Italy were stubborn as expected but Ireland did enough to get the win. Scotland were resolute in defence and showed some promising signs of giving the top teams a good game whilst France look good for the future with the strength and pace they have and look a dark horse for the world cup.

Scotland you bunch of twats.

Why am I destined to always support silverware-averse teams??

Another great weekend. Italy shook England in the first few minutes, but then England responded. France did the French thing of flattering then falling. Scotland did the Scottish thing of being desperately close/desperately unlucky. I'm usually loathe to complain about refs, but I do feel Wales should have got a second yellow on more than one occasion.

England Scotland could be tight this year based on these performances. I expect Ireland to beat England and take the grand slam now

At least you've always got your freedom.

Another week, another 'brave' Scotland performance in defeat. How drunk is OT right now?

Not sure I'd call it brave. I was more impressed with their performance against Wales. Very frustrating performance from England though and if Ireland can next week do what we didn't today then all those missed opportunities could prove very costly. At least we have the benefit of playing last so we'll know exactly what scoreline we need against the French.

Me either, hence the quotes. It's just the thing people say euphemistically instead of 'they tried hard but weren't good enough'.
England should have won the game in the first half. Scotland defended well and had a good 5-10 minute spell but that's not enough. They gave away less pens which was an improvement I guess

This Italy France match is laughably bad. Dropping the ball everywhere, missing easy kicks

Great second half from Wales. They've made it very tough. Although that late Italian try could be crucial as to win by 16 points, although difficult is doable whereas I reckon 23 would be too much of an ask.

It isn't over yet. We ended the first half well and if we have a big second half you never know. The French are capable of a spectacular collapse.

Been a great game. I think we might just do it.

I'm bored of stupid decisions by English players, Haskell randomly tripping a French player and costing us big time.

Ford, just not bothering to do anything making it an easy try for France.
