Not a fan of cricket... Bores me to tears - but always nice to hear we're beating the Aussies!

booooo lol :P

was pretty funny with the media down here, they thought we would cruise to a 4-1 or 5-0 smashing.... now we have drama again lol.

although one of the elderly English commentators we get on radio down here was really giving it to us in the 3rd test, just wanted to throw my radio at his head.

well played, unfortunately the next one isn't for a while.... Australia's summer of cricket really isn't the same when we are playing you blokes... South Africa & India can give us a run for our money but there's no feeling/passion like the ashes.

the upcoming tests with the Windies will be a snorefest, here's hoping NZ will make a series of it....

Don't worry, you'll have your revenge this Saturday at Twickenham I'm sure.

1st Test v Pakistan suddenly got interesting after 3 days of borefest.

England need 71 to win off just over 14 overs after Pakistan all out for 173 in second innings.

Pakistan demonstrating a masterclass in time wasting as bad light threatens to end play. <fist>

Bad light ends play with England 25 short of victory.

Time wasting saves game for Pakistan. Not impressed. Umpires let them get away with murder in that last hour. <disgrace>

Who wasted more time, Pakistan at the end or Alastair Cook with his slow scoring rate?

50 is not exactly a bad strike rate.

It is over 528 balls. Malik scored 18 less runs over 108 less balls.

I can't agree with you at all. In test cricket, the most important thing is to score runs, and not get out. Cook played with discipline at a reasonable pace, secured the draw, allowing us to try and force the win. If he had been swiping for boundaries, we more than likely would have lost.

This <ok>. The total Pakistan set the most important thing during the majority of Cook's innings was to stay in and chip away at the total. If he'd got out for 80 going for a six and said he was trying to get runs quickly to force a win he'd have been absolutely slated for it. The match had "Draw" written on it from the outset, it was only an unexpected collapse from Pakistan right at the end that changed that.

And yeah, Cook's scoring rate wasn't even that bad, 3 an over. If he'd just been blocking out an end and had a strike rate of 25-30 then maybe (only maybe) you'd have a point.

Wow! We've got our Jos Buttler back. 104 from 46 balls in 4th ODI vs Pakistan. Outstanding batting from him. <diva>

Looks set to be a draw, 9 wickets in 3 days is poor.
