I went to Spa for a GP about 15 years ago and it was £120 a ticket. I'd be livid if I'd paid that and watched 2 laps behind a safety car to justify a race.

Definitely. I’ve been to Spa twice and both times it was well over £200 a ticket.

Like the look of this circuit, a proper track where you'll be punished for mistakes rather than all these crap new circuits.

Think we'll see some decent shenanigans in qually too with people fighting for space. Looks like a proper drivers circuit.

Triple post shame BB... but fantastic that it seems George Russell will get to drive a Merc next season. Could be a genuine 3-way (or more...) title fight with Hamilton, Russell, Verstappen, plus perhaps the new regs bringing some of the other teams into play. Exciting!
I had the first custom w***

<wah>

Hope so!

I hope that if Bottas gets team orders between now and the end of the season he just completely ignores them <laugh>

Glad he's staying in the sport.

Race Sunday was fine to meh, another swing in the title fight is always good, that track is just way too small though, the banking is enjoyable would love to see it at more tracks.

The race wasn't bad - enough to keep you interested I thought, but definitely one of those where the whole Max Verstappen army and atmosphere there really elevated it.

It might have been because I was hungover, but I thought the race was incredibly dull.

Is anything enjoyable when hungover? Perhaps a McDonald's and a bottle of Fanta...

Albon confirmed to replace Russel at Williams next season, glad to see him back - I always thought he was alright other than having the curse of being Red Bull number 2 driver last season. Even an experienced head like Perez isn't pulling up too many trees this season and is never really seriously in the mix most races.

Driver line up looking exciting next season. Just one Alfa slot to fill, allegedly on a one year deal.

Hugely.

Lots of really talented drivers out there got a season in s*** teams and did well, like Ocon for example.

Issue is that these drivers are listed as RB, Merc or Ferrari young driver academy members and the team's they are expected to cut thier teeth on need a pay driver to fill the coffers.

Monza sprint race qually today <diva>

Really hope it catches on, normal qually is usually meh and especially for the fans at the circuit far better to do the sprint race format.

I don’t think a Norris / Ricciardo win is out of the question tomorrow…

They’re quick on the straights, if one can jump Verstappen at the start no reason why they couldn’t win.
