Zandvoort announced as a circuit for next year which means the return of the Dutch Grand Prix amongst the dunes.

Hopefully the camber on Tarzan isn't bulldozed!
May have to stay in Amsterdam and go to this! The drugs will make the f1 seem more interesting at least!

Yeah definitely. Incredible how quickly he was back racing after the injuries he suffered.

Niki Laudas chief mechanic from March used to drink in a pub I worked at and told loads of stories about him.

Often the mechanics would walk into the garage on the morning of a race and Lauda would be found covered in oli and grease after stripping apart the engine as he was fixing the car himself.

He knew his way around a race car.

A lot of stories like this about - I was just reading about how when one of his airline’s planes crashed, he proved to Boeing that it was their fault and then forced them to admit it publicly. Really knew his stuff.

So the Brazilian GP will move to Rio from next year and the BBC have a computer simulation of the track.

It looks utter s**** in comparison to Interlagos.

It’ll be another bore fest, I’m recording it and will watch it tonight rather than waste my Sunday afternoon.

Im happy Lewis won and he did a great job getting his car to the end. But that just tells you how s*** Monaco is - its early impossible to takeover, any attempts either end with disaster or the other car throwing itself out of the way

Yeah, it’s a stretch calling Monaco a race when the faster cars behind can’t overtake the slower car leading the race. Yes it’s a glamorous race (if you’re there) and historic, but really it’s bollocks.

George Russell in the Williams was the fastest on track at one point.

In a Williams!

Yeah I just watched the race. Nothing interesting happened after lap 22. Great drive from Lewis but they need to make Monaco less dull.

I don’t think there’s a single thing that they can do. Cars are too wide for the track but there’s no way to widen the track.

The cars need to be narrower. The width of them is a problem on lots of tracks

Just watched it, absolute bollocks. I’m not a Ferrari fan but I really don’t see what else Vettel could do. It wasn’t a wide bit of track, walls and grass either side and he wasn’t in full control when he rejoined the track.

I don’t know, he chopped pretty hard right when he came on the track. Should have lifted off over the grass. Could’ve been a big avoidable accident had Hamilton not been handy on the brakes.

I’m not sure about it but it’s defs a 50/50 rather than clearly unfair
