Russell through again, thought for a second that both Williams might get into Q2!

Unlucky for Russell, reliability issues robbing his chance of points.

He’s massively outperforming the car, ready for a move to a bigger team.

Him or Norris for the Merc number two seat next season? Russell is obvs a Merc driver but say they went for Norris then would be great to see Russell at McLaren.

Great lap by lando to get on the front row today - will be tough to finish on the podium tho with the Mercs and Perez behind.

That’s a bollocks decision to give Norris a time penalty.

Much better race than last week, first half a bit meh but second half of the race was good. Utter domination from verstappen, great for lando to get another podium, shame Russell missed out on a point in the last few laps - he needs to get into a quicker car next season and he’ll do well.

Not a classic but some good battles, Norris exceptional without that harsh pen would have been 2nd. Max on another level atm.

The amount of hate thrown towards Lewis for that crash is unreal, both going for it, first lap title rivals, some people are suggesting it was deliberate! Great recovery drive but this is the race for me where Merc have shown they probably don't have the pace to beat Red Bull over a season.

Ferrari sorted their race pace and Mclaren going well, a tense race but not a classic.

Yeah it was an unfortunate collision, I thought the penalty was probably right but the crazy reaction is mad

This. It was a racing incident that was more Hamilton’s fault than Verstappen’s but definitely not intentional or anything. I think the penalty was adequate punishment.

Hell of a drive by Hamilton tbf tho and this title fight could go to the wire, hopefully!

I personally thought the penalty was harsh, Max turned in on Lewis IMO. Hes been doing it all season
