Not often you see a car launch like that, really lucky escape.

Will be funny if they give grid penalties to everyone other than Sainz who made the line!

More overtakes on that out lap than the entire French GP

Good race I thought. Leclerc did well (if a little fortunate on some of the defending). Bottas really bottled it at the end, 3 times he got close and three time he made errors at the crucial time. Just not good enough for a top driver.

Winning in a Ferrari at Monza must be one of the best feelings in motor racing. Defended under huge pressure at times from one of the greatest F1 drivers of all time.

It was a bit naughty when he squeezed Hammy out of an overtake, he needs to drop that kind of cheating crap.

I dunno, I quite liked it - it was right on the edge but you don’t win races by being Mr Nice Guy.

He didn't need to do it, he had the racing line and was slightly ahead

Hamilton hasn’t always been squeaky clean, nor Vettel. F1 cars are quite long too with awful mirrors, he probably cut it closer than he intended as maybe didn’t know Hamilton’s nose was by his rear right tyre (that’s about as much of Hamilton’s car that was next to his so pretty hard to judge). I’m not a Ferrari fan, never have been (in fact always supported Hamilton when he came onto the scene) but I like seeing that aggressive streak.

Just read Palmer's article too.

I agree with him in that their should be a fixed panel of race stewards for the entire season to promote consistency one way or the other. I do think it’s getting blown up a little bit, it’s hardly Schumacher sending Barichello towards a solid concrete wall head on stuff. It was right on the edge but I liked seeing a driver fighting that hard.

Agreed with both. I'd much rather see drivers behind forced to slow down, than concede the racing line or slow. I know this one wasn't necessarily the case, but I'd rather give it the benefit of the doubt.

Im not bothered that he didnt get punished, although as Palmer says they should be consistent on this. I just think for him to be a great driver he needs to drop that type of cheating

Haas are retaining Grosjean and Magnussen so Hulkenberg will most likely be out of a seat next season.

I've always seen him as a good driver, prone to a mistake or two but on the whole is a better driver than some of the current field (looking at you Stroll!).

Long overdue unfortunately. It was abundantly clear during testing last season that he was nowhere near fast enough. He’s so far off the pace of everyone (even his teammate) it’s embarrassing.

Will Leclerc tow Hamilton or Vettel?
