I'm not a gamer really, but went to the F1 arcade in Birmingham yesterday and it was really decent - full racing sim experience: https://f1arcade.com/
We've got one in central London and been thinking of booking something with miniOT and a few mates or head off to a go kart track for an afternoon to physically race stuff.

Is the SIM experience good and how long does it last?
It’s a really good experience. You can do a 3 race package or 5 races. We did 3 and it look around 30/35 mins. They’ve loads of tvs showing old races etc too.

Not F1 but I went to SIM Motorsport in Gillingham in December. Really good experience. We had a 90 minute endurance race and 30 minute qualifying. Teams of 3 so got about 40 minutes in the seat each. Was a genuine workout trying to battle with the car at times.

This might sound stupid, but I wonder if Verstappen is just bored out of his brain when racing?

He's comfortably quicker than everyone else, including his own team mate. He can do whatever strategy he wants and pit when he wants as he's so far in front. He can manage his pace as he wishes for the entire race. He rarely has to overtake anyone or get into a scrap. He can sit on autopilot for 99% of the time. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure you get a buzz from winning multiple world championships, but it's like playing FIFA on a level that's too easy for you and you just win every match 10-0. It's boring as hell.

Sargent is s***, but harsh as f*** to give his car to Albon for the rest of the weekend after Albon put his own car into the wall!

Can't recall that ever happening before since I've been watching F1. Obviously they used to have a spare car back in the day, but can't remember a driver having to give his car to a team mate at the expense of him being able to race.

I suppose the only justification is that Albon is more likely to do something in the Williams and with some added luck, maybe get a point.

It is very harsh on Sargent though.

Perfect drive by Sainz again and thought that McLaren had a great race as well.

Was happy to see Tsunoda get points on the board.

Alonso/Russell incident seems to be stewards can't 100% state that a brake test happened but Alonso did something unexpected and strange so gets a punishment.

Quite a decent race considering it was another routine red bull win.

Canada always delivers! Hard to call this.

This is why it’s so bollocks to have so many “money races” rather than going to circuits where we get great racing and challenge the drivers to the fullest.

Lando! He’s so bloody good - defo got a title in him one day.

Hamilton winding the clock back!

Back-to-back wins for Merc too.

Perez really is awful, he could actually cost Red Bull the constructors title.

Decent race - hats off to Russel / Merc.

Red Bull will lose the constructors if they don’t boot out Perez, p2 > p8.

Hell of a drive by Piastri.

(Talking to myself on this thread <laugh> )

Race of the season so far and Piastri was incredible.

Sainz and Perez incident to me seemed to be Perez at fault as in car footage shows Sainz steering wheel was straight until he was shunted.

Great drive by Morris as well and cheered when he blasted by Max.

Sadly looks like max will splutter to the drivers title as there’s not another driver winning consistently enough to close the gap significantly, it’s just being nibbled away. So long as Max finishes around the top 5 more often than not he’ll still win the title thanks to his early season form.

McLaren have to be favourites for the constructors tho.

Max was brilliant in the FIA press conference and quite rightly pointed out that he is answering questions.

Anywho, looks like it's got the potential to be a really good race today as the top 10 is a bit mixed up. Hoping the additional DRS zone creates more overtaking opportunities and there is a chance of rain according to a mate who lives there. Couple that with an inevitable safety car and it could be interesting

It was always on the cards that Dani Ric would be dropped once Perez signed his extension as he's been underwhelming for a long time now.

Great memories of his late dive bombs into unexpected corners - Japan was memorable when he started to overtake on a few corners that had been deemed impossible to pull off.

Looking forward to seeing how Lawson gets on after his short stint last season.

Yeah - ric has underwhelmed since coming back, Lawson has looked quick whenever he’s had a chance.

Enjoyed that race - shame Lando can’t start a race <laugh>

Utter domination from Ferrari. Perez continues to ensure red bull won’t win the constructors.

With Perez, Red Bull will finish 3rd in the constructors.

Good race overall for the fans. Plenty of good, hard racing throughout.
