What are your hopes for this game?

I loved GTA IV. Despite it taking a step away from the craziness of old-school GTAs, I still put many hours into the game. The fact it took a turn towards realism (I use 'realism' loosely) didn't really bother me, and I wouldn't mind if GTA V carried that trend. One of the things I would like to see is more customisation. I loved going to get a different haircut or get a new tattoo in San Andreas, in the same why I loved taking a visit to Wheel Arch Angels to spruce up my Sultan.

I don't mind that it's gone a bit ''darker'' GTA 4 was still a good game and stuck to the formula well. I do miss the customisation though like you say.

Can't wait <diva>

I loved the businesses too, Vice City was a great game, it did help that i had only recently seen the film scarface too, having the mansion and helicopter pad was a nice touch, san andreas was great too, if they could mix vice city and san andreas and style it like GTA 4 then it would be an epic game for me... doubt ill get my wish though, lol

Although San Andreas was technically better than Vice City, I still think Vice City is my favourite. It might be because it was the first GTA I played, but I loved everything about it.

One of the major let downs of GTA IV for me was the soundtrack. I think I've spent most of my time on that game with the radio off. Vice City had a kick-ass soundtrack.

I have a soft spot for Vice City as well, everything from the soundtrack to the sound it makes when you pick up a gun.

Vice Citys still my favourite too, San Andreas is bigger and has more in it, but for story, setting, a really cool map and that soundtrack it has to win for me.

Gta 3 protagonist, with a mixture of SA and VC's maps with 4's graphics would be the ultimate Gta game.

GTA games have been my favourites since I started playing on the PS1 and I can't wait for GTA V.

They could do with updating that, considering it's since been confirmed that Ray Liotta had no involvement with that trailer.

Apparently Rockstar are going to start releasing info soon after Max Payne 3 comes out. So early June, which means a good chance of it being at E3. Could be a good E3 this year...

I want San Andreas with the size, detail and engine of GTAIV.
The thing that put me off IV was that it seemed to focus too much on being a serious game, and took away the fun parts of the old games.

GTA grew up with IV, and that's a good thing, if you want the all out craziness (which is perfectly acceptable) you have Saints Row. GTA can tackle and satirise tougher issues and more thoroughly with the more mature tone.

The only problem with the game being so big is it gets boring when you have to do one of the 200 'drive to the other side of the game then back' missions.
Kindly deeds done for free!

Because I'm anally retentive, these are my favourite kind of missions. <griff>
