Lewis Haldane was an absolute monster for me on Championship Manager 06. Top scorer in the Premiership in the first year that Bristol Rovers were in it despite having appalling stats <awe>

Shame he's now retired at 27 <grim>

Romelu Lukaku isn't doing too badly, twice as many Premier League goals as Cissé this season, and with less than two-thirds the game time.

Back on old school champ man, I used to always get Daniel Nardiello from Man u ; guaranteed 40 goals a year.

not sure if he was wonderkid but used to destroy everyone for no reason
“I’m not going to look beyond the semi-final – but I would love to lead Newcastle out at the final.”

“We can’t replace Gary Speed. Where do you get an experienced player like him with a left foot and a head?”

“We didn’t underestimate them at all – they were just a lot better than we thought they were.”
