Dawnguard not available in Eastern Europe . Apparently nobody cares either, even though it means Bethesda will be missing out on customers from about 10 countries. Weird.

Weird indeed.skalpel wrote:Dawnguard not available in Eastern Europe . Apparently nobody cares either, even though it means Bethesda will be missing out on customers from about 10 countries. Weird.
Is there not any third party way of downloading it?

I don't play this game, but looking at the picture above, can you roam around and climb those mountains behind and stuff. And should I get Red Dead or Skyrim?
Re: Skyrim
Completely free roam, yeah.Swarley wrote:I don't play this game, but looking at the picture above, can you roam around and climb those mountains behind and stuff. And should I get Red Dead or Skyrim?
As for Red Dead or Skyrim, Red Dead has an amazing story and a great landscape but nothing really do to outside the main quest-line as opposed to Skyrim where there's hundreds of different quest-lines and an interactive environment where you can do all sorts (hunt animals, attack travelers etc).
Bit of a 50/50 choice, both great games.

Re: Skyrim
To be honest, I haven't even completed all the things to do in any of the Assassins Creed, and I usually stick to the storyline, but the graphics look better on Skyrim
Re: Skyrim
Doesn't seem to be any way of getting it except via Steam. If I get desperate I could probably get somebody in England to gift me it via Steam or something.DavideDuck wrote:Weird indeed.skalpel wrote:Dawnguard not available in Eastern Europe . Had a quick look and it seems there's no obvious way around it.skalpel wrote:Doesn't seem to be any way of getting it except via Steam. If I get desperate I could probably get somebody in England to gift me it via Steam or something.DavideDuck wrote: Weird indeed.

Guess you could wait for the GOTY Edition, still sucks though.

Re: Skyrim
Red Dead is absolutely beautiful with a wonderfully told story, a rich and living world - one of gaming's greatest narrative achievements.
Skyrim is absolutely beautiful with an alright and pretty generic story, a massive but a bit artificial world - and I'd still recommend it.

Re: Skyrim
Both are absolute artforms in their own right - I think personally though that RDR is so much more adventurous and it also has nice MP.
Re: Skyrim
I've been playing this game for 3 years, not even close to completing it.

Re: Skyrim
I was playing it on and off for a pretty similar amount of time, sometimes doing the story line, sometimes just making armour, sometimes just bombing the f*** round on a horse... and then my 360 hard drive f***ed up.ALF wrote:I've been playing this game for 3 years, not even close to completing it.
Re: Skyrim
My computer has been buggered for a whole year since the movers bashed it up on the way out of Prague . After playing it for ages, I ended up using it when I needed to relax, and just hunting deer and elk with a bow and arrow in third person view with the music off . Mindless running and clicking with the sound of the wilderness soothes the old brain.

I spent about 2 hours last night just Smithing stuff trying to get that skill up.Acid Hippo wrote:I was playing it on and off for a pretty similar amount of time, sometimes doing the story line, sometimes just making armour, sometimes just bombing the f*** round on a horse... and then my 360 hard drive f***ed up.ALF wrote:I've been playing this game for 3 years, not even close to completing it.
