Re: Battlefield 4
I've tried to do that but for some reason it keeps backfiring
Re: Battlefield 4
Play the objective, don't worry too much about dying more than killing unless you're achieving nothing by it and just pissing away your team's tickets. Try to find at least one friend to play with, communication and co-ordination go a long way in BF.
Re: Battlefield 4
Wait until its in a working condition. The current game isnt fit enough to be a demo.
p.s. The starting weapons and sights are horrendous, but as soon as you start unlocking new ones it become a lot easier to progress, as im finding.

Re: Battlefield 4
Thanks Nick. I seem to be unlocking things that are of absolute no use. I still have all the basic weapons. Its a tad frustrating to say the least
Re: Battlefield 4
Oh you'll get s*** tons of different camo, different scopes, sights and grips for guns you dont have yet. The first Carbine you unlock and second LMG seem to be pretty decent though. Once i unlocked something better than the standard iron sight for those guns (the red circle thing especially) i started getting things far quicker.
Also depends on how you play. Ive never played the BF games before (and probably wont play another after the problems with this one) but you cant treat it like Call of Duty, Halo, Unreal Tournament, etc... Usual 'run and gun' tactics will get you shot down over and over again. Pick your spots well and cover your back.
I quite like playing the Rush games where its attackers vs defenders and flanking them.

I'll give that a blast tonight. I am used to Call of Duty and was pretty good at it but seem to be bloody useless at Battlefield! Hopefully some unlocks will come through soon

Re: Battlefield 4
I tried Rush tonight. I was equally as hopeless at it. Then went back to the normal multiplayer version - is it called Conquest? Cant quite remember. Anyway, still absolutely useless and really not making progress at any speed. Dare I say but I reckon Im going to get rid and move onto COD
Re: Battlefield 4
I wouldnt go on conquest until you get to grips with things, you'll be shot to bits within seconds constantly.
Concentrate on the smaller maps first without as many vehicles like team deathmatch and squad deathmatch. Difuse is another small one too.
Im nowhere near the top of the scoreboards when i pay, but i feel like im getting better each time. The starting guns are no help at all.

I'll give that a go - I literally do get shot almost immediately on Conquest which is why I think Im terrible at it. I shall have a go later to see if I get on any better

Re: Battlefield 4
I only played the beta of this but I've been a battlefield player for a while, biggest key to success is to stick with your team, move slow, and be observant of the action on the map, also if you find yourself struggling to get used to the way the game is played play some recon, some ppl will hate on it but you can play positive with that class by spotting for your team and picking off the odd defender, you will also get familiar with routes ppl take around the map, also if you want points throw down med packs and ammo with the other classes.

Yeah you are right. But getting shot 10 times to every kill I made was no fun
