Some say he's still waiting for the disk to arrive, and the thread will remain unlocked until that time.

Funny this was bumped I as was gonna hijack the FM 16 thread to ask if anyone has bought 17? It's got s**** reviews...

I've been thinking of buying a new laptop mainly so I could get FM17. Couple of my mates seem to be enjoying it, I've not been able to get into one since FM12 though.Chappy wrote:Funny this was bumped I as was gonna hijack the FM 16 thread to ask if anyone has bought 17? It's got s**** reviews...

I just don't have the time to spend on it. Up until I was about 21/22 I'd play it religiously but when you finish Uni, get a job, wife etc. it really fucks your life up!

It's caused arguments with the missus in the past. Me not texting her back for hours on end as I'd be glued to FM.Bodacious Benny wrote:I just don't have the time to spend on it. Her: "We never talk cuz you're always on that f***ing game."
Me: (Assertive) "I'm prepared to give you a chance in the first team, but I expect you to work hard to stay there."
Her: (Calm) "OK, cheers boss. See you later."

Yeah it''s crazy, back when I was only working part time I'd end up on it until 5/6am if I was on a good run of form. Those were the daysBodacious Benny wrote:I just don't have the time to spend on it. If I had a day off Uni and the Mrs had to go in then I'd start playing at about 9am and not turn it off until she got back at about 6pmALF wrote:Yeah it''s crazy, back when I was only working part time I'd end up on it until 5/6am if I was on a good run of form. I still sit and try and build small teams into world beaters always end up in relegation scraps when i get close to the top
Re: Buying FM 2012 on steam
I've only bought 1 of the last 5 games and that was FM14. Never could get into it, still playing an epic Rotherham save on FM12, won the Premier League and Champions League twice eachDeano wrote:I still sit and try and build small teams into world beaters always end up in relegation scraps when i get close to the top
