It's true.
My family have been designing and manufacturing globes since 13500 BC but health and safety went nuts after a child of a high ranking member of the Clovis culture caught his eye on a corner and ever since then it was determined that a spherical globe would be less likely to injure unless we supplied the true representation of the square earth with safety goggles but no-one knew what safety goggles were.
This post has changed my whole perception of reality!
