The Russian Bear and Deja Vu

Post by Albert's Chip Shop » Tue May 20, 2014 6:54 am

Looks like Putin isn't even trying to hide his attempts to annex large parts of Europe now.
Appalling to see the west putting in place lame sanctions against some of his mates.... surely the time has come to start putting UN Troops (never would happen in reality) in Eastern Ukraine (at their 'request') to remind him he cannot 'do a Hitler'.
History is meant to be the greatest teacher yet we've clearly been here before.....

I've stocked up on cheap Aldi BBQ briquettes fella, I'll be alright.

How you doing Skalps, still in the land of fine beers and hearty dumplings?

Not bad, thanks. Yourself? I left Prague behind for Paris near the end of last year. I'm spending the Summer over the Atlantic and expecting another move somewhere new when I get back. Not sure where yet but somewhere hot might be nice, I keep moving house in crap weather. Perhaps not Ukraine anyway <roll>.

Good stuff mate.
Yeah, I'm fine and dandy.
Glad the season is over as I was becoming more and more gloomy as it went on.
I love my trips to the US... their craft beers are coming on leaps and bounds now... Enjoy :)
