Your First Album

Post by Speedo » Mon Aug 13, 2012 3:57 pm

Simple really. What was the first album you ever owned? It can be in LP, CD, tape or MP3 (surely none of us are that young!) form, or any I've forgotten. But be honest! For example, and this is genuinely true...

My first album of my own was a present in Christmas 2000 (I was 7!). It was Ricky Martin - Sound Loaded. <erk>

Edit - I actually just remembered an LP I had as a kid which beats this by a year or two, but it will make me look like a cronut so I'll just leave it <gent>.

Not really sure why, but i got this when i was 10...claimed to like but didnt really listen to it. Then, when I listened to it again properly when I was 12....I did actually like it and a love for Snow Patrol developed.

This was the first album I 'owned'. It was recorded onto a cassette from my mates CD because my Mum wouldn't buy the CD for me because of the 'parental advisory' label on it <wah>
