Post by Le wilde un » Sun Feb 05, 2012 10:07 am

Thought I should make a snooker thread in time for the next big competition so here it be.

It's not a mini 606 until there's an Archery thread!

I once looked on the archery thread on the BBC606 just to see if anyone actually went on it and it had people talking about who was better at archery between Robin Hood and Legolas <laugh>.

So who do people fancy for the Worldy? I can see Higgins winning, again.

O'Sullivan and Ebdon lock horns at 2:30pm today.

Not bad, 33-1.

I like the look of Brecel, looks like he has something about him, which is rare. Though his haircut is average.

I knew there was a snooker thread but thought it had disappeared and we could do with one just for the World Champs, but I guess whichever one's more popular will sustain itself.

Well Done Mark Selby, on becoming World Champion and beating Ronnie O'Sullivan 18-14, after being 10-5 down.

McGill. <awe>

That 68 break he made in the 17th was incredible. Definitely going to be a World Champion one day.

<laugh> I wouldn't go as far to say that. I don't know what it is about snooker, compared to say tennis, that makes people hype up one or two decent results so much.
