Well you'd think so. But this is a man that persists in playing Ryan Taylor in CM when he has been appalling in every game he's played.Frank Dialogue wrote:After Caver's rant at the time, surely he can't bring him back in. Keep Dummett at CB and Anita/Jonas at LB.dls wrote:
Still has one more game on his ban, so we're saved from him until West Ham.

I'm pretty sure Pulis quit Palace because he didn't receive enough backing in the transfer market.
It would be 10x worse at our club considering that he'll barely even have a say in who we sign or how much we spend.

If Carver keeps Newcastle up he deserves the job full time.
Re: Newcastle Utd vs West Brom - 09/05/15
No he doesn't. It's mainly his fault (not excluding the abject performances by most of the squad) we're even anywhere near the relegation battle. However, I'm sure that will be the reason that Ashley and Charnley use to justify giving him the job full time.

I hope that's some kind of sick joke.

Probably - unless Hull win their last 2 which is pretty unlikely. Spurs are w*** at the moment tho so it wouldn't surprise me if Hull go there and win. If so then we could be f***ed.Juliet Papa Golf wrote:One more win. That's all we need.

First league match all.season I haven't been to, watched on TV or streamed. Glad I missed it. Sound like yet another s**** game. With the other results as well it looks like we are going down and to be honest its a disgrace if we don't. Ashley is a cronut. He doesn't deserve a top flight club and it'll be an embarrassment to the Premier League if we somehow miraculously stay up as we are too s*** to deserve it.

Thought today was a real improvement in terms of the fight from the players, aside from Sissoko who still didn't look arsed. Taylor is pretty awful now but he was a real example to the rest of the side in terms of the effort he put in. Atmosphere in the stadium was actually decent for the first time in ages, didn't even turn sour after we went behind.
Must say I feel pretty sorry for Cisse. I wouldn't be surprised if this season really takes its toll on him, the number of times he's been rushed back from injury to try bail us out. He clearly wasn't match fit today - he could've been played in at one point if he just span in behind Olsson but looked scared of turning too sharply. It's a shame that's he's had to risk his long term fitness because of s*** management and under investment in the squad.

Hull will beat Spurs. Spurs and Southampton have been deliberately losing of late to avoid the Europa League. Spurs really don't want it as it'll stop them challenging for top 4 next season so they'll lose their remaining games.Bodacious Benny wrote:Probably - unless Hull win their last 2 which is pretty unlikely. Didn't he say somewhere that he thinks he'll be fit to start against qpr? If so he can't have been that unfit today.
