For once a good cover of a Smiths song.

I only really like The Bends. As in the single and not the album itself.

A few people have said that to me, and I can sort of understand it. Completely disagree though.

New album imminent, and two tracks have been released. "Burn The Witch" and "Daydreaming".

Anybody else looking forward to this one?

I'll have a listen to Daydreaming in a bit. I like Burn The Witch and the video for it, looking forward to hearing the rest of the album. Really out of the blue announcement, hasn't been much hype or promotional work, I wouldn't have had a clue if Burn The Witch wasn't on YouTube's front page.

Yeah the first I heard was they suddenly pulled down their whole online presence; website, twitter, facebook, youtube, spotify, the lot. Then the next day Burn The Witch appeared. Postman Pat style Wicker Man video (Wicker man Pat <roll>) was awesome.

Daydreaming is my favourite song of the two. It starts out like it's going to just be a classic mould Radiohead ballad and then turns into something beautful and new.

Only listened to Daydreaming once but I don't like it as much as Burn the Witch, I find it too bland for too long. Really looking forward to seeing what follows it on the album because to me it sounds almost like a prologue to something more interesting.

Burn The Witch is great, Daydreaming less so but still, I'm excited for the new album.

Hopefully this means they end up playing Glastonbury this year as well <divax>

Think I prefer Burn the Witch but both are really good songs.

<laugh> Amazing. There's also something of Willie Nelson sneaking in there.

This album really is among their best. I've a feeling that after repeated listens it might be my favourite.

This. Being an old school Radiohead fan I stupidly neglected anything that came after Amnesiac, but the new stuff has me absolutely hooked.

Now I'm off to give In Rainbows and Hail to the Thief another chance <gent>

They're definitely both well worth your time. In Rainbows just edges out Hail to the Thief because Reckoner is the best song in their catalogue.

I also really liked The King of Limbs but I get the impression I'm in the minority there.

I wasn't big on The King of Limbs, but I appreciate it if you know what I mean. It's good but just not my thing!
Definitely a band that grows on me the more the years go by. I used to listen religiously to The Bends and OK Computer but I have found myself being drawn to more and more of their later stuff recently.

The last album is an absolute work of art mind <applause>
