Planet Earth II - Judgement Day

Post by beatski » Tue Nov 08, 2016 9:42 pm

Surprised no-one made a thread about this. what a show. sexy sloths, indyguana jones, hardcore penguins. the show has it all.

easily the best bit of tv i've seen in ages, but then i do love documentaries.

This. It was absolutely brilliant!

Can't believe how I was feeling watching those baby Iguanas trying to escape the Racer Snakes. Unbelievably tense. I can't remember when a film or tv show last affected me so much.

Can't wait to see what else the series has in store for us.

Remember watching a nature show in biology class a bit similar to the penguin section where these baby birds just launched themselves off a cliff en masse onto the rocks below. Think about 20% of them survived, it was brutal.

That iguana bit was brilliant <awe>

I watched this last night, I loved the segment with the racer snakes and the way they came out of nowhere as though it was all scripted and choreographed, it had a really epic cinematic feel to it.
