Other Clubs Transfers Summer 2018/19
Liverpool to sign Fabinho from Monaco for an initial 39m. Didn't see that one coming
Along with Keita, they are clearly looking to add a bit of steel to that midfield. Wonder if they will flog Wijnaldum

Don't know much about him tbh. It does amuse me when some fans make out like Klopp is performing miracles whilst working on a budget...

They need a top quality goalkeeper and striker and they'll be up there with City next season.

Looking like Real Madrid are going to beat Liverpool to something they want again.
Talk that Real have agreed a 50m + Navas deal with Roma for Allison

50m+ Navas is a fantastic deal for Roma. These mega clubs have always been able to throw money all over, but it's got to the point where there doesn't seem to be a ceiling any more. Especially as Madrid will easilly recoup that transfer fee by selling James Rodriquez, Bale, whoever else leaves.

They also don't seem to mind paying exorbitant funds for marginal (if any) improvement. They'll recoup that fee on sales, but they'll just spend that again on the next James or Bale.Crazy Ibrahimovic Hotdog wrote:50m+ Navas is a fantastic deal for Roma. Mahrez to Man C seems like it is back on (£60m). Leicester considering Grealish as a replacement

Re: Other Clubs Transfers Summer 2018/19
Interesting to watch developments at Chelsea. For a couple of years now Abramovic hasn't been as willing to pump in the levels of cash that he has done in years gone by. Whilst they can still spend a lot of money, they don't look to be competing with the likes of Man C, Man U and even Liverpool in terms of what they can/will spend. Maybe it's a case of him getting bored, maybe he's still interested but wants a sustainable model. Either way it's quite amusing to hear some Chelsea fans bemoan how they can't compete with those above them, even though financial muscle is the only way that they previously got success. Interesting summer ahead for them with the Conte situation, and Hazard potentially going.

Ambromovich has been denied a new work permit, partly due to the increasing political tensions between this country and Russia apparently. Has put plans on hold for a new stadium, and may well be considering the long term future if he's not allowed to work in the country. Would want an absolute fortune if he was to sell up tho.

Yeah saw that. Although even before then his interest and willingness to plough money into the club had fallen away a bit.Crazy Ibrahimovic Hotdog wrote:Ambromovich has been denied a new work permit, partly due to the increasing political tensions between this country and Russia apparently. Not about the duration of his spell there. It's about the combination of impatient chairman and a manager with nickname Madman Bielsa.
