I'm sure some Muslims have got something about having to hose down their arse when they've had a s***. If you go to Dubai, Oman and places like that then loads of the toilet cubicles have got hose pipe things fitted.
You mean they weren't for drinking? <yikes>

It's not really a religious thing, more cultural (south east Asia does it regardless of religion).

We have them in our house, they are great. Much cleaner (use water then paper). I feel now like the western way is uncivilised...

Stayed in a cheap-ish hotel in France and for some strange reason no en-suite bathrooms had an actual toilet but they all contained a bidet.

Were you supposed to have a dump in the only shared toilets on the middle floor and then walk upstairs with your pants round your ankles, s*** nuggets waving in the breeze to wash your ass in your bedroom?

French bidets are sub par. Inprecise and as you say having to get up whilst dirty is... yuk

I had a Business Director I used to work with who would go mental if any correspondence wasn't in Times New Roman so I sent her my resignation letter in Comic Sans.

Bit harsh, 90 tends to be my cruising speed on motorways.

Anyway it's the manner of driving rather than speed that is generally the issue I find...you can drive well at 90mph and awful at 40mph.

Well outside the 10% variant.

That was the variable that some traffic police I knew socially used to tell me.
