CR7
Done and dusted ...
apparently the deal works out to be €1,03 a second.

I'm the scumbag outlaw. You're the pillar of justice. Neither of us like looking at ourselves in the mirror. Do we have a deal?

It is mind-boggling to think of how much money top flight players take home now. Even a bang average PL will be on £30-£50k a week. Imagine walking into pretty much any shop and never even letting the price of anything you pick up come into consideration.Plate of Barszcz for me wrote: ↑Wed Jul 11, 2018 12:52 pmkind of feel sick in my stomach over the amount of money involved
Ronaldo could pay off my mortgage with a day and halfs work.

TV money goes a long way when tax-payers fund your stadium.

With their years in the Championship and 27,500 seater stadium it's tough to see how we could ever match them and spend that kind of money on one player.

I know right? Either we are being horribly mismanaged, they are running up huge debts, or the fat man isn't being honest about it....Blještav Benny wrote: ↑Thu Jul 12, 2018 11:32 amWith their years in the Championship and 27,500 seater stadium it's tough to see how we could ever match them and spend that kind of money on one player.

I think basically every club are running up huge debts. Or at least any keeping pace with this sellers market.Hjl wrote: ↑Thu Jul 12, 2018 11:37 amI know right? Shaqiri to Liverpool for £13m...
It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city.

Does he have a clause in his contract or something? Seems absurdly cheap

Yeah, relegation release clause. I don't like him but he's a good player on his day and that's no money nowadays for a squad player.
