I just can't see how Shaqiri is going to fit into Liverpools squad, he's going to want games but he's not good enough for their first 11 imo.

He's not going to dislodge Salah, Mané or Firminio obviously, but he's got more than enough quality to be on their bench and rotate in and out of the team given how many games they'll have.Don Sholeone wrote: ↑Sat Jul 14, 2018 1:54 pmI just can't see how Shaqiri is going to fit into Liverpools squad, he's going to want games but he's not good enough for their first 11 imo.

Re: Other Clubs Transfers Summer 2018/19
Still going to have Ox, Lallana to compete with, possibly Wjinaldum too, Solanke can also play across that 3 iirc, then they have the likes of Ojo who they will probably want to start getting experience, Sturridge if he stays too. Also with the likes of Keita and Fabinho signing to go along with Henderson and grujic the whole of their midfield is stacked, still got Origi too,Blještav Benny wrote: ↑Sat Jul 14, 2018 2:27 pmHe's not going to dislodge Salah, Mané or Firminio obviously, but he's got more than enough quality to be on their bench and rotate in and out of the team given how many games they'll have.Don Sholeone wrote: ↑Sat Jul 14, 2018 1:54 pmI just can't see how Shaqiri is going to fit into Liverpools squad, he's going to want games but he's not good enough for their first 11 imo.
As it stands there is a lot of competition and that's just for the squad places, I just can't see him getting anywhere near enough game time, especially with his known attitude problems, I just cannot see it working out there at all

Rodwell on trial at Watford
I can't believe any PL club would take him unless he's on a VERY cheap contract or pay-as-you play deal.

There was a time he was decent before he went to Sunderland. I could see a team gambling on him returning to his ore Sunderland form when placed in a more stable environment.
Mind he doesn't deserve a chance from anyone. As much as I've enjoyed Sunderlands decline, it's disgraceful what he did to them.

He showed potential at Everton, but not much more. Obviously made an absolutely awful decision when he moved to Man C which wrecked his career (I don't care how much he believed in his ability, there was no way he was becoming a regular part of that team).TJR wrote: ↑Mon Jul 16, 2018 1:28 pmBlještav Benny wrote: ↑Mon Jul 16, 2018 12:03 pmRodwell on trial at Watford

Re: Sunderland, they offered him the contract so he was within his rights to sit it out. Morally it's a bad thing to do as 'normal' people have lost their jobs while he sat on £70k a week, but ultimately it's the clubs fault.

GK always struck me as the biggest market inefficiency. Other than the handful of most famous keepers, the rest always sell for really cheap compared to other positions.Bodacious Benny wrote: ↑Tue Jul 17, 2018 2:35 pmLiverpool bidding £50m+ for Allison while we got Dubravka for £4m

He's out of contract in the summer so the price makes sense haven't seen anything 100% official but Marca reported it yesterday and they are usually bang on with Real stories

They are looking (or have at least spent) like a team preparing for a serious title challenge next season. The Deluded Pablo Diego Jose Francisco wrote: ↑Wed Jul 18, 2018 3:13 pmLiverpool sign Alisson for £67mil.

Klopp has nowhere to hide now. He's had an easy ride from the media just because they're good to watch. But for all their spending they've won nothing. He has to win something this season IMO.TBC wrote: ↑Wed Jul 18, 2018 3:32 pmThey are looking (or have at least spent) like a team preparing for a serious title challenge next season. The Deluded Pablo Diego Jose Francisco wrote: ↑Wed Jul 18, 2018 3:13 pmLiverpool sign Alisson for £67mil.
