Was actually decent the season before last when he got a chance, but was rubbish on loan in Germany last season from what I gather. 6 goals in 31 games for Wolfsburg. The Deluded Pablo Diego Jose Francisco wrote: ↑Wed Jul 18, 2018 1:11 pmI've said it before and i'll say it again... he's s***!

I know I'm sounding like a broken record, but we aren't going to a better player than Mitrovic for the money we get for him. It's like Brexit at this point, I'm praying for the Norway option of Rondon in favour of crashing out with no deal and bringing Shefki Kuqi back. At 41.

Yep, I agree. Can see Mitro getting double figures for Fulham next season and you struggle to see any of our current our linked strikers doing that.

Gregoire Defrel is the latest name, 1 goal in 15 games for Roma last season and 27 years old, clearly the answer to our goal scoring problems

Who would people prefer out of Origi and Rondon?
Re: NUFC Minor/Untrusted Transfer Rumours (Summer 2018)
Origi definitely. Rondon would be so underwhelming.

Origi is a load of s****, would almost rather Joselu. Rondon isn't spectacular but a solid enough signing. Wouldn't want either of them to be our starting striker though. Someone better and Rondon in, with Mitro and Gayle sold on. Send Joselu to the f***ing glue factory.

You clearly don't have enough faith in Kuqi. He'll win us the league!Colly wrote: ↑Wed Jul 18, 2018 2:11 pmI know I'm sounding like a broken record, but we aren't going to a better player than Mitrovic for the money we get for him. Seconded. We don't need to pay full price for another forward who will struggle to score 10 goals and is getting on in age - we know what he is, and I don't see him as an improvement (over Joselu sure, but that's not the bar I'd use). Origi is a risk, and I wouldn't want him to be the only forward bought, but he has way more upside to me.

It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city.

Newcastle have reportedly made two contract offers to manager Rafa Benitez this summer, but neither has been accepted.
The Newcastle Chronicle say Benitez has turned down a five-year deal and a one-year extension.
He apparently wants "solid pledges on recruitment and wants to make changes to the Academy and Under-23 set-up".
It is also reported that Benitez has told the club he can see himself staying for 10 years if the conditions are right, but "an acceptable blueprint is yet to come his way".

To be fair, Rafa needs to supply the blueprint, and if Ashley won't support it he should walk.Chappy wrote: ↑Thu Jul 19, 2018 4:27 pmSky Sports wrote: THIRD TIME LUCKY?
