Planning on it next year, my girlfriend's birthday is on the race weekend and she's a big F1 fan so going to treat her (and me <benny>)
I used to live in Austin so if you need advice etc.
I expect we'll not have much time away from the track, but good value hotel suggestions wouldn't go amiss!

Merc f***ed up not pitting Hammy earlier, but good race and the Championship goes to Mexico

Yeah they should have brought him in with about 20 to go. Glad they didn't tho. Obviously he's still got the title in the bag but that made it great viewing. I'm not too bothered who wins in F1, just want to see good racing.

Good line up on the grid today with both Red Bulls at the front and then Hamilton and Vettel.

Fairly good run down to turn one so the third and fourth place cars can get a slipstream which could be chaos with 4 cars trying to outbrake each other.

Yeah the high altitude really levels the playing field, Hamilton might be a bit nervous going into the first few corners in case he gets a tap from somewhere.

Looking like this will be a two stopper for lots of them.

We're so bloody lucky to have been able to see Schumacher AND Hamilton at their peak, both F1 legends and two of the best of all time. Hamilton is relentless. Ferrari started the season will but only one man deserved the title.

Bit of a crap race, tyres didn't seem to cope well at all. s**** track for overtaking. Best battles were in the mid field. Happy for Hamilton though, bring on next season and number 6!

Ham definitely has at least two more titles left in him...

Hoping Red Bull are more competitive next year, Max could be a real contender if they are.

Even if the Honda power unit gives them more grunt (I'm not convinced, neither is max either from an interview I heard), the gap to Merc is too big on too many tracks. He might win a few more races, but if Leclerc is allowed to race properly (i.e. not be Vettel's whipping boy) then he's potentially a bigger threat to Ham.

Also, if Bottas doesn't win a race this season he'll be the first driver in the hybrid era not to win at least one race in a season for Mercedes (although he should have won one but was told to move).

Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel says he and Charles Leclerc, who will be his team-mate next season, "need to work together on track"

Essentially; be Vettel's wing man.

Yep <laugh>

Leclerc probably won't mind doing that for a year tbf, but long-term he's a potential champion himself so don't want to get stuck with the #2 driver tag for long.

Looking forward to Brazil this weekend, a proper race track. Haven't seen the weather forecast but quite often see rain in Brazil to mix things up, Verstappen was a monster in the rain last year from memory.
