Having my first taste of Eagle Rare this evening.

Up there with Woodford Reserve and Jeffersons for me and it's possible that by the time I reach the bottom of the bottle it may well be my favourite. Enjoying it immensely!
Eagle Rare is excellent, definitely better than Woodford (which is also v good) imo. Bargain at £36 too.

£33 at my local waitrose <awe> and yes already concluded it is even nicer than Woodford. Gone straight in at #1 on my shopping list.

May not be quite as cheap for you, we don't have vat in Guernsey so usually a few quid cheaper (they add a bit back on justified as shipping cost so we don't usually save the full vat amount).

Totally. I'd class anything under £40 a bottle as a day-to-day bourbon, and that's the best I've found in that price range.

The Buffalo Trace distillery release a version as part of their Antique Collection every year that I would bloody love to try (limited release, usually have to enter a lottery to have a chance of buying one for about £125 a bottle). Comes out at the same time as their George T Stagg etc.

Yes, very good and a reasonable price too.

Was at a wedding yesterday and absolutely hanging today. Prosecco and wine with dinner (I like neither but they were free...), beers all night and then double whiskey's to finish off (no idea what it was, the hotels house whiskey, tasted fine). I'm going to have a recovery beer in a bit, usually helps <laugh>

Gentleman Jack is only £20 a bottle in ASDA. Nothing special at all really, but not a bad price for an alright day-to-day whisky.

Never had 18. I really like the 14 though. Very nice.
