Think I may give this a miss. Watch my team play defence against attack, with the added frustration of knowing that some of our fans think it tactical genius, or watch Elf? Pretty sure Elf will be more fun.

Don't understand not playing 3 at the back for this one
Re: Match day thread - Liverpool v NUFC
Wow, look at the line up. Looks a little bit like he is using the subs to save the starting 11 for the next game.
We're gonna get battered haha.

Re: Match day thread - Liverpool v NUFC
We'll be lined up as two banks of four defending deep, with no pretense at counter attacking. Playing for 0-0 from the start.
What else could he be thinking with a back four and both Diame and Hayden in centre midfield?

To be fair not much other options in midfield with ki gone and shelvey not fit. Longstaff not gonna make his debut starting at anfield.Donkey Toon wrote: ↑Wed Dec 26, 2018 2:35 pmWe'll be lined up as two banks of four defending deep, with no pretense at counter attacking. Chris Waugh suggesting it WILL be 3 at the back (Fernandez, Lascelles, and Dummet, with Yedlin and Ritchie as WBs, and Kenedy and Muto as "wide" players.
So 5-4-1 with Joselu struggling in that lone Rondon role. Sounds like fun.

Re: Match day thread - Liverpool v NUFC
Hope it will be that. Would give us some chance going forward.
Wouldn't mind seeing Schar played as DM. Not convinced by him as a CD but his passing range and composure on the ball could see him useful in that position. Can't be worse than Hayden at the very least.
