Why is Mourinho's negativity a problem but Benitez' negativity warranted?

Maybe because Man Utd have a squad assembled from about £600m - 700m worth of investment with a world cup winning attacking central midfielder who cost more than our entire 11 combined? not to mention having the likes of Lukaku, Sanchez, Martial, etc

That could be a valid reason <scratch>

I was saying the exact same at work the other day, all the negative managers are being forms or one at a time, Wenger went right downhill followed by mourinho and benitez is down to managing us.

The old style, manage and setup negative is finished in my opinion.

It's all about perspective, they spent that much but are expected to win the title. We spent much less but are only expecting survival - irrelevant argument

Wow, just watched the United game. We're gonna get battered haha. Just our luck that they fire the manager and look great just as were set to play them

Amazing what difference having a manager that believes in you does

The fact that you are trying to compare one of the leagues worst funded teams with one of the the worlds top funded teams just goes to show you dont have a clue what you are talking about, you are either a moron or a troll, i honestly pray you are the latter.

I agree that the Man Utd comparison is silly, but it's all relative really. I understand why we play the way we do against Man City (even if I don't fully agree with it, the flat back 5 and no outlet is utterly absurd), but for us to not have a single shot on target at home against a team that concede more than 2 a game on average is embarrassing. Hell the only touches the Fulham keeper made were flappy punches at crosses, we should have been punishing that, but we barely put a cross in second half.

First weekend I commit to writing my opinion in over a year in this site, decided to give it another go and bang, straight away I'm reminded why I don't bother.

In the last 3 matches we've dropped 4 valuable points against Watford and Fulham and still people are defending rafa.

Don't worry about me trolling, I'm gone

Over a year? are you deranged? you've been consistently posting all year, this is the reason you are received negatively, you talk utter garbage and post nonsensical stuff whenever you come on here then every time someone disagrees with you, you throw your toys out of the pram, you bitched at me before saying i was always clashing with you yet i proved id literally responded to you only once.

And people wonder why this forum is dead on its arse. Used to be a time we could debate things and hold opposing viewpoints without resorting to name calling and the such. Now you just get shouted down or told to f*** off or personally attacked for disagreeing.

It seems the forum is split into massive pro-Rafa and anti-Rafa camps, there seems to be no middle ground at all on here anymore. If you try to defend Benitez and blame Ashley you get slammed, if you happen to speak against his decisions or question his tactics, it's the same craic. It's poisonous. Whatever happened to being allowed your own opinion?

Burnley winning just caps off a s***ty weekend of results. With the run of games coming up it would be a brave man to bet against us being in the bottom three by the time we play Cardiff. What a massive game that is shaping up to be.

I know I've mentioned it but the failure to beat Fulham could be huge.
I don't think we will be in the bottom 3 by the time we meet Cardiff as there are many tricky games upcoming for the bottom 3 - however it will be close and we really need to beat Cardiff.

We also shouldn't rule out the possibility of a point against either MU or Chelsea .

Against Manu the way they are playing now- we would need to put in an attacking performance. Rondon + Muto perhaps in attack (although I don't think Benitez will do this). Man U are currently set up for attack - so I imagine Benitez will look to counter.

By end of Jan we could be back in the bottom 3 - which makes it even more important for the club to bring in at least one quality signing (preferably more) to give everyone a boost.

There are winnable games coming after Jan and I remain convinced that we can get to 38 points and that would be enough this year I think.

Is it really that bad here? I agree that the earlier moron post is completely unnecessary, but I think we've got a fair balance in terms of opinion here, I feel I can happily knock a Rafa decision without getting a barrage of abuse.

Also I've apparently just hit 5000 posts, so we have to stay open now...
