I think letting them have Gayle and then Murphy on loan is a good deal for them.

This. We had Barton on the wing aswell if I remember. It used to be Nolan - Tiote in CM, Barton - Gutierrez out wide and Ameobi / Carroll upfront. Those were the days.

I said it the other day if we had of paid 15m for Rondon at the start of the season, it would have already been money well spent

This. We had Barton on the wing aswell if I remember. It used to be Nolan - Tiote in CM, Barton - Gutierrez out wide and Ameobi / Carroll upfront. Those were the days.

I meant more the 1 up top with Nolan behind that we played most of that season with Smith in midfield, but yes we did go ultra attacking for that game. Fellaini could play both too actually, you've got me excited about a rumour that doesn't even exist...
